Cecilia Jädert

In my role as a business developer at LU Innovation, I work closely with researchers to develop research ideas with commercial potential. This process includes supporting the projects in various patent, contract and financing matters as well as establishing collaborations with the pharmaceutical industry and healthcare. I work with a particular focus on research in oncology and immunology.

I have a PhD from the Karolinska Institute in immunology and inflammation and several years of experience working in the pharmaceutical industry. I have worked as a medical advisor with a focus on biological drugs in inflammatory diseases both before marketing approval and as a scientific expert in marketing.

Developing new ideas and increase collaboration between academia, industry and healthcare is something I am passionate about – so medical research faster can benefit patients.
